As a fellow Dane, this was an entertaining read! I live in the UK, where I guess the differences in culture and mindset aren't as glaring.

It's interesting to me how the parallels you draw between Denmark and the US as seem to paint Denmark as unequivocally the better country. In its ways, it is. But overall, I think it's just different. You've got to have lived in Denmark for a substantial amount of time to notice some of its downsides, like how homogonous the culture is, or the prevailing silent agreement that nobody is going to fly too high (the shadow side, I suppose, of the admirable egalitarian mindset).
