This whole article is so well written, and so honest.

Despite being born in '89 I too grew up fully believing and expecting to be rich and famous by the time I reached 25, if not sooner. I didn't have even the foggiest as to how this was going to come about, I just had this abstract idea that it would happen. Lo and behold, it hasn't, and it's part of growing up that I now look at as normal and commonplace, but not really healthy. The ability to dream and imagine is so important, but more examples of successes that don't rely solely on monetary wealth and world fame would be good.
